2. Information we may collect
- Contact and enquiry details such as your name, email address, phone number, company, service interest, budget range and project brief.
- Messages and files you voluntarily share through website forms, Ria, email or WhatsApp.
- Ria conversation text, selected prompts and enquiry details. If you use voice input, your browser converts speech to text; the resulting text may be sent with your conversation.
- WhatsApp profile and communication information made available when you contact our business account, such as your display name, phone number, message content and delivery information.
- Technical and usage information such as browser type, device, approximate location derived from IP address, pages visited, referrer and interaction events collected through hosting logs and analytics.
Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, government identifiers, medical records or other highly sensitive information through Ria or WhatsApp.
3. How we use information
We use information to answer enquiries, understand requirements, prepare proposals, schedule calls, deliver agreed work, provide support, improve our website and Ria, measure performance, prevent abuse, maintain records and comply with legal obligations. We may follow up about the enquiry or service you requested.
4. WhatsApp communication and consent
When you start a WhatsApp conversation, submit your number with a request to be contacted, or otherwise opt in, you authorise Overwrite to respond about that enquiry. We may use approved WhatsApp templates for relevant follow-ups where permitted. You can opt out of marketing follow-ups at any time by replying STOP or asking us not to contact you. Service messages needed for an active project may still be sent where appropriate.
WhatsApp is operated by Meta and its processing is also governed by the policies and terms that apply to your WhatsApp account. Overwrite does not control Meta's independent processing.
5. Cookies, browser storage and analytics
We use essential browser storage to remember your theme choice, Ria session and chat-opening preference, and your cookie choice. These functions do not require analytics consent.
Google Analytics is optional and remains off unless you select Accept analytics. If accepted, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga and related identifiers so we can understand visits, page usage and service interest in aggregate. We use this information to improve our website, services and brand experience—not to sell your personal information.
You can accept, reject or change this choice at any time through Cookie settings in the website footer. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics collection on this browser.
6. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information. We may share only what is reasonably necessary with providers supporting website hosting, analytics, email, calendars, communications, lead notifications, cloud infrastructure and project delivery, or with professional advisers and authorities where legally required. Providers may process information in other countries subject to their safeguards and applicable law.
7. Retention and security
We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, an active business relationship, record-keeping, dispute resolution and legal obligations. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Your choices and requests
You may ask to access, correct or delete information we hold about you, withdraw consent, or stop marketing communication. Email contact@overwrite.in from the address or number connected to your request. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where law or legitimate record-keeping requires it.
9. Children and external links
Our services are intended for business users and are not directed to children. Our website may link to third-party websites; their privacy practices are controlled by those third parties.
